Arthur went missed on the night of October 6th in the year 1971. He was on board of Ms. Lyra (Israelien Ship) which was anchored 3 miles from the port off Dampier (Australia). He was a 3rd assistant engineer. The company he worked for was Zim Israel Navigation Co. Ltd. Haifa (Israel). The captain of the Ms Lyra was at that time M.J.Teunissen.
The local authorities looked for him, but they didn’t find him.
His father and cousins are still looking for him.
